Snorkeling requires no certification and is open to all ages and abilities. For diving activities, you must hold valid PADI Open Water certification or equivalent from recognized international organizations. If you lack certification, we offer PADI Open Water courses during your stay, allowing you to become certified and dive the same day under professional supervision. Refresher courses are also available for certified divers needing to update their skills.

Komodo diving is extremely safe when proper protocols are followed. Our guides receive rigorous training including rescue certifications, medical training, and extensive site knowledge. We maintain strict diver-to-guide ratios, conduct thorough safety briefings before every dive, utilize modern dive computers, carry comprehensive emergency medical kits, and maintain constant communication throughout dives. All equipment undergoes regular maintenance and inspections. Our vessels are fully equipped with communication systems and maintain proximity to medical facilities.

Bring sunscreen, a wetsuit if preferred (we provide suits), underwater camera, certification card, medications if needed, and personal toiletries. We provide all diving and snorkeling equipment, safety gear, and refreshments. Avoid loose items that might get lost overboard. Consider bringing motion sickness medication if prone to seasickness, as some boat conditions may be choppy. Waterproof bags protect personal electronics and valuables during water activities. A good quality dive computer is optional but appreciated.
